From a customer-service perspective, shopify and authorized payment providers encrypt and process payment information; thhehoneypot does not retain a complete card number or card security code. An issuer may authorize, decline, hold, or request verification according to its own rules.

In keeping with our customer promise, provide current billing and contact details so authorization can be completed. We may stop a payment that cannot be approved or carries material fraud risk, and we collect taxes in accordance with applicable law.

For clarity, an approved refund is returned to the original payment method and ordinarily posts through the bank or card issuer within 5-10 business days after we issue it.
